Tehran (IP): The Iranian and Jordanian foreign ministers discussed issues of mutual interest and the expansion of bilateral relations in a telephone conversation.

Iran PressIran news: In a telephone conversation with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian described Iran's desire for friendly and fraternal relations with mutual respect with the countries of the region and called on the two countries to take advantage of opportunities of the region to improve relations.

Announcing Iran's support for regional dialogue and cooperation away from foreign interference, Amir-Abdollahian underscored the expansion of cooperation between the countries of the region, especially Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan, as a precondition for further economic prosperity and stability in the region.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the need for all Islamic countries to take responsibility for the issue of Palestine and Holy Quds.

In this telephone conversation, the Jordanian Foreign Minister called the relations with Iran important and respected.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister also stressed the need to ensure the rights of the Palestinian people.
