Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 222 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 122,592.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 10, 2021, 5,702,890 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,217,999 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,256 cases, out of whom 1,286 patients were hospitalized.

5,304 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 33,246,447 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 7 cities are red, 108 are orange, 248 are yellow, and 85 are blue zones.

So far, 45,075,513 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 19,326,432 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 64,401,945 doses.
