Tehran (IP) - The Chairman of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed: "The authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan should get rid of the illusion of buying security from foreigners."

Iran PressIran news: Kamal Kharazi, Chairman of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, criticized the Republic of Azerbaijan for allowing the Israeli regime to be present in this country, saying: "Relying on foreigners to secure a country is not a logical and sensible solution."

Kharazi added: "As the role of foreign forces increases, the dependence of the host country on it deepens."

Kharazi also said: "Which country can be found in the region that has been able to strengthen its military power with the presence of foreign forces in its territory, so that it no longer needs foreign forces."

Kharazi added: "If the Islamic Republic of Iran is an undisputed power in the region today, it is because of its self-reliance and lack of dependence on foreign forces."

The head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations said: "The Zionist regime has not nestled in the Republic of Azerbaijan without expectation and has sinister goals in mind to ignite the fire of war in the region due to the strategic mistake of the current government and this will be a catastrophe."

Kharazi stressed: "Iran's advice to the officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan is to get rid of the illusion of buying security by resorting to foreign forces, and rely on their people, because this country has heroic people who are able to maintain the security of their country with their own hands."
