Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday, pointing to the Zionist Regime’s movement against Iran on Azerbaijan’s soil, stressed that Azerbaijan has been warned in this regard.

Iran Press/Iran news: Attending his weekly press conference and in response to Iran Press, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Iran and Azerbaijan’s relations are going on at various levels and better to continue in its own way; no need to talk about them in the media.

"Azerbaijan’s national government is respected and Iran seeks maintaining it," he added.

He noted that the Azerbaijani border soldiers' behavior with Iranian truck drivers needs revising, and Baku is demanded to have proper behavior with Iranians.

Iran can and will defend its security

Pointing to the Zionist Regime’s acts and speeches against Iran on Azerbaijan’s soil, Khatibzadeh said that the Zionist Regime should not be allowed to act in this way, and Azerbaijan has been warned in this regard.

"It is crystal clear that Azerbaijan’s soli must not be abused for third parties," he underlined.

"Iran can and will defend its security and territories," he said.

"Iran and Azerbaijan’s bilateral relations are growing and the future trips will prove it," Khatibzadeh concluded.
