Iranian inventors win gold in 6th Istanbul Int'l Inventions Fair

With its museum-related invention, an Iranian group won the gold medal of Turkey's 6th International Exhibition of Inventions.

Iran PressEurope: For the second time, the Iranian inventors won the gold medal of Turkey's International Exhibition of Inventions, competing with 260 inventors from 20 countries.

Mahmoud Reza Gorji, Marjan Haji, and Salar Basiri invented a device to protect historical monuments and make museums smart, hence snatch the Turkish expo's gold medal.

The same device achieved a gold medal earlier in the Swiss International Exhibition of Inventions.

Mahmoud Reza Gorji, who represented the group at Turkey's 6th International Exhibition of Inventions, said: "This is the only museum-related device in the exhibition."

International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and European Patent Organisation (EPO) sponsored the fair.

The expo kicked off on September 21 and lasted until September 26.
