Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that the total number of the recovered COVID patients has exceeded five million people.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 29, 2021, 272 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 120,160. Also, 5,572,962 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,009,673 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 13,271 cases, out of whom 1,891 patients were hospitalized.

6,016 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 32,087,135 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 29 cities are red, 224 are orange, 165 are yellow, and 30 are blue zones.

So far, 37,748,710 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 16,060,951 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 53,809,661 doses.
