Iran logs 239 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced that 239 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 119,888.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to 28 September, 5,559,691 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,988,109 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,701 cases, out of whom 1,8212 patients were hospitalized.

6,124 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). 

So far, 31,976,745 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran. 

According to the latest analysis, 29 cities are red, 224 are orange, and 165 are yellow zones, and 30 cities are in the blue zone. 

So far, 36,908,191 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 15,824,520 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 52,732,711 doses.
