Mashhad (IP) - The Director-General of the Railway of Khorasan Razavi Province, northeastern Iran, announced a threefold increase in exports via railway from Sarakhs to Central Asia.

Iran PressIran News: Mustafa Nasiri, Director General of Khorasan Razavi Railway, said: "In the first half of this year, 600,000 tons of export cargo with more than 9,500 freight wagons were loaded through the Sarakhs railway border to Central Asian countries, which has been tripled compared to the same period last year.
 
Sarakhs border city is located 202 km northeast of Mashhad.
