Iran Press/ Europe: The competition wrapped up in a ceremony on Saturday night where winners of the two categories, recitation, and memorization of the Quran, were announced and awarded.
According to the panel of judges, Sina Tabakhi from Iran bagged the top prize in memorization.
The distinguished Iranian memorizer of the Quran won first place with an "excellent" vote and the consensus of the judges, among 33 memorizers from 26 countries.
Two memorizers of the Holy Quran from Malaysia and the United States finished second and third, respectively.
