Iran Press/ Iran news: According to the official site of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the bereaved family of Ali Landi received a phone call from the office of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei; and the condolences of Ayatollah Khamenei were conveyed, and sympathy was expressed with this bereaved family.
Earlier, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi also extended his condolences over the death of Ali Landi, calling him Iran's national hero whose life story could be a source of inspiration for the next Iranian generation.
Ali Landi, a brave and self-sacrificing 15-year-old hero who set himself on fire to save two of his neighbors, died on Friday after suffering severe burns from a big fire.
It was on September 9th that the cries of the 85-year-old mother and sister of martyr Ebrahim Azizi alerted Ali Landi to a fire in their house.
A gas cylinder had ignited and Ali took it away from the mother and daughter, but suddenly the flames engulfed Ali's whole body.
Before the arrival of the rescue team and the fire brigade, he sacrificed himself to help the victims, who suffered burns and were sent to Isfahan for treatment after the initial measures in Ahvaz.
Ali Landi finally lost his life on September 25 after a few days of treatment with burns over 90%.
Ali, who dreamed of traveling to Karbala one day, just on the eve of Arbaeen, rushed to meet the Lord and became the guest of Imam Hussein (AS) in heaven.
