Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had taken 452 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 115,619.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 15, 2021, a total number of 5,360,387 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,654,558 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 19,731 cases, out of whom 3,016 patients were hospitalized.

7,054 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 30,557,737 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 168 cities are red, 209 are orange, and 71 are yellow zones.

So far, 26,139,133 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 13,075,601 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 39,214,734 doses.
