Iran: 635 COVID-19 Patients succumb to death in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that COVID-19 had claimed 635 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 111,892.

Iran PressIran news: According to the definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 7, 2021, a total number of 5,184,124 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,422,740 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 27,138 cases, out of whom 3,914 patients were hospitalized. 

7,606 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). 

So far, 29,677,880 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran. 

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow zones. 

So far, 19,982,954 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 10,355,300 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 30,338,254 doses.
