Iran Press/ Iran news: On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 'Aviation Vaccination Collaborative Center' of the Ministry of Defense on Monday and in an interview with Iran Press, Brigadier-General Afshin Khajeh-Fard stated that the IAIO intends to increase its services and capacities to combat the pandemic.
"The duty of the Armed Forces in the Aviation Industry Organization is to put in practice all its equipment and facilities to eradicate any damages in the country, including the COVID-19," he noted.
The 'Aviation Vaccination Collaborative Center' of the Ministry of Defense was inaugurated on Monday, August 30, with Deputy Minister of Defense for Coordination Brigadier-General Saeed Sha'abanian, Deputy Defense Minister and Head of Iran Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO) Brigadier-General Afshin Khajeh-Fard, and the Head of Tehran's Task Force for Combatting Coronavirus Alireza Zali in attendance at IAIO site in Tehran.
