Iran Press/ Iran news: ShadX team representing SUT could successfully stand in second place in the Graduate Aircraft Design Competitions of the American Aeronautics and Space Administration (AIAA).
The ShadX team, led by Dr. Mohammad Hashem Sadraei, has designed the family of Cheka regional jets (Chekavak bird in ancient Persian) that will perform much better than competing aircraft by applying various ideas.
The theme of this year's competitions is the design of a new family of regional jets that consume at least 20% less fuel than the current models.
