Tehran (IP) - Ashura mourners throughout Islamic Iran performed the noon prayer of Ashura, marking the martyrdom anniversary of the master of the martyrs, Imam Hussein (AS).

Iran PressIran news: Ashura mourners mourned for the master of martyrs, Imam Hussein bin Ali (AS), and his faithful companions and shed tears in the early hours of the morning of Ashura while observing the hygienic procedures by attending various processions throughout Iran from the early hours of the morning of Ashura.

Imam Hossein's mourners throughout Islamic Iran also offered the noon prayer of Ashura in memory of Imam Hussein (AS).

At the noon of Ashura in the year 61 AH (October 10, 680 CE), when "Abu Thamama" reminded the Imam of the time of noon prayer, Imam Hussein (AS) was pleased with what he had done and prayed for him and said: "You reminded the prayer, May Allah consider you as one of the worshippers. "
