Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had taken 564 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 100,255.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 19, 2021, a total number of 4,587,683 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,840,568 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 31,266 cases, out of whom 4,603 patients were hospitalized.

7,538 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 27,579,653 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 16,254,252 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 5,236,423 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 21,490,705 doses.
