Iran Press/ Iran news: Receiving the Speaker of National Assembly of Azerbaijan's Republic on Friday, Ebrahim Raisi said that Iran considered the security and progress of Azerbaijan as its own, noting: "The two countries can have close and effective cooperation and coordination in bilateral and regional relations in the interests of the two nations as well as security and stability in the region."
Sahiba Gafarova, for her part, conveyed Ilham Aliyev's congratulations to Raisi and said: "We are sure that Tehran-Baku relations will get more developed than ever."
She said her country would welcome the participation of the Iranian companies in the construction projects of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
