President Raisi:

Tehran (IP)- Referring to the ancient and historical relations and religious and cultural commonalities between Iran and the United Arab Emirates, Iran's President said that the country's serious and sincere will is to develop relations with the UAE, and there are no obstacles in expanding relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in economy.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with the Special Envoy of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday night, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the serious will of the United Arab Emirates to deepen and strengthen relations with Iran in various fields, especially in economy and trade, saying: "It is appropriate to create a joint mechanism to operate the capacities and ways to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields."

Raisi has further emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a true and sincere friend of the UAE and other countries in the region, saying: "We feel heartfelt interest in the people of the UAE, and the close relationship between the two governments can pave the way for brotherly relations and close cooperation between two nations." 

Raisi mentioned the support of the oppressed people of Palestine as an example of the true friendship of the Iranian people and highlighted: "Despite all the pressures and restrictions we have, we are fulfilling our religious and humanitarian duty in defending the Palestinian people, and we expect Muslim countries and the Arabs should take the lead in this regard, and in this case, the aggression of the Zionists will disappear."

The President also said that the future of Yemen should be decided by the Yemenis themselves, adding that the common vision of the countries in the region in this regard can be in the interest of peace and stability in the region and also guarantee the interests of the countries in the region.

The Special Envoy of the United Arab Emirates also congratulated Raisi, extending the message of the Prime Minister, Crown Prince, and Commander of the Armed Forces of his country, and expressed happiness on attending Presidential inauguration and hearing Iran's president wise views, especially in friendship with neighboring countries.

Referring to the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, he said: "Considering the wisdom and tact we witnessed in the speech, we are confident in the future of relations and the establishment of peace and stability in the region, and we are determined to increase the level of relations with Tehran."
