Iran COVID-19 update: 409 patients die in 24 hours

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 409 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 92,194.

Iran PressIran news: According to the latest data on August 4, 2021, the total number of COVID-19 patients reached 4,019,084, of which 3,444,798 have recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 39,357 cases, out of whom 4,263 patients were hospitalized.

5,959 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). 

So far, 26,168,347 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 285 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 53 are yellow zones.

So far, 11,138,741 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,885,294 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 14,024,035 doses.
