Iran, Germany plan to exchange students

Tehran (IP) - There is this opportunity for the students of a German university and a university in Tehran and another in Kurdistan province to be exchanged so that they can get acquainted with the cultural and educational conditions in Iran and Germany.

Iran Press/Iran news: This year, the German Academic Exchange Institute started a collaboration with three universities in Cologne and the universities of Tehran and Kurdistan province in the framework of a project entitled "Multilingualism in Iran, a social view of grammatical diversity" with the aim of transferring students between universities with a budget of 100,000 euros.

The project is now in the first phase and can be extended for another two years. The purpose of this project is to get students acquainted with the cultural, social and educational conditions of Germany and Iran.

As part of this project, students from the universities of Tehran and Kurdistan province will travel to Cologne to spend a three-month research stay under the auspices of the University of Cologne.

Students from the University of Cologne will also travel to Iran as part of the same project to get acquainted with the cultural, social, and educational conditions of the country during their three-month stay in Iran and pursue their research projects.

The activities of students entering from Germany will be supervised by the University of Tehran and the University of Kurdistan.

A majority of students coming to Iran this year have expressed a desire to spend part of their stay in Kurdistan province to get acquainted with the educational, cultural, and social capacities of Kurdistan.

According to the Ministry of Science, students eligible to be sent on these quarterly research trips will first be introduced to the Student Review and Selection Committee by the professors conducting the project.
