Tehran (IP) – Iran’s deputy judiciary chief for international and human rights affairs called on Germany to cooperate with Iran on the role of German individuals in imposing sanctions on the Islamic Republic and examining the situation of Iranian prisoners in Germany.

Iran PressIran News: During a meeting with the German Ambassador to Tehran Hans-Udo Mutzel, Ali Baqeri-Kani called on the German government to cooperate with the special representative of the human rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran to investigate the situation of Iranian prisoners in Germany and also to investigate the role of German natural and legal persons in the imposition and Implementation of cruel sanctions against the Iranian nation, especially sanctions related to humanitarian affairs, including drugs, medical equipment, and food.

He also called for the protection of the rights of Palestinian, Yemeni, Iraqi, and Syrian women and girls who had been abused by the occupiers, aggressors, and terrorists to be on the agenda of international human rights authorities.

He stated that upholding the rights of Iranian women and girls, which US and European sanctions had violated, had been an important mission for Iran as a new member of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
