The casualties from a fire that shredded in a coronavirus hospital in southern Iraq rose to 66, health officials said on Tuesday.

Iran PressMiddle East: The death toll of the fire outbreak at Imam Hussein (AS) Hospital in Nasiriyah city had risen to 66, and more than 100 others were injured, according to Reuters. 

The authorities faced complaints of negligence from mourning relatives and a doctor who works there.

A fire caused by an exploding oxygen tank killed at least 58 people in a hospital treating COVID-19 patients in southern Iraq late Monday.
