The 77th Strategic Naval Fleet of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, consisting of the all-Iranian destroyer named Sahand and IRINS Makran, are present in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time to demonstrate the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in navigation field.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press News Agency, Iranian Navy Commander Rear-Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said: "Makran is a mobile seaport and this ship is a good capacity for the presence of our fleets in the high seas."

Rear-Admiral Khanzadi added: "The Sahand destroyer has also sailed for 400 days since its construction, which indicates that there is a great capacity for knowledge in the Iranian youth."
The Iranian Navy commander stated: "Today in the Atlantic region, we are the ones who are creating trends. Of course, part of that presence is because the Americans said the Iranians could not be present in the Atlantic Ocean. The presence of the fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the area of ​​Cape of Good Hope and the Atlantic Ocean, contain a specific message."

"Considering that African countries of the Atlantic do not have a navy and hence are no threat to US and on the other hand, European countries also make no threat against US, the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran – that fighting oppression is one of its principles – in the Atlantic is worrying Americans,: he added.
