Tbilisi (IP) - During a ceremony at the Republic Hospital in Tbilisi, a shipment of Iranian humanitarian aid to Georgia to fight the corona was delivered to the country's authorities.

Iran PressAsia: The ceremony was attended by Akbar Ghasemi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tbilisi, Ara Shaverdian, the Armenian representative in Tehran and the north of the country in Iran's Parliament, and Giorgi Tsiklauri, Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia.

Ghasemi said: "Corona is a common issue and Iran and Georgia must work together to combat the virus."

Georgia's Deputy Minister of Health also thanked Iran for its help to his country in the fight against Corona and said: "Iran's aid shows that countries must fight the virus together."

Iranian humanitarian aid packages include ventilators, corona diagnostic kits, thermometers, Pulse oximetry, face masks, and disinfectants, all of which are products of Iranian knowledge-based companies.
