Tehran (IP) – Iran's first female Olympic badminton player says she is ready for the Tokyo games.

Iran PressIran News: The Iranian female badminton player Soraya Aghaei-Hajiagha said that she will attend a training camp to participate in the Tokyo Olympics from tomorrow and will train under the technical staff of the Iranian national women's badminton team.

Member of the Iranian national women's badminton team stated that she would attend a training camp tomorrow to train under the supervision of the technical staff of the Iranian national women's badminton team and participate in the Tokyo Olympics.

She noted that in recent months, she had been training at Milad Club in Tabriz under the supervision of club coaches.

Aghaei-Hajiagha said winning the Olympic quota was valuable for Iranian women's badminton and would try to be a worthy representative of the Iranian badminton community at the Tokyo Olympics.

Winning an Olympics quota, Soraya Aghaei-Hajiagha succeeded in bringing Iranian badminton to the Olympics after 13 years.

Her quota is the tenth quota for women in the Iranian sports convoy at the Tokyo Olympics.
