Reciprocal visa requirements for ordinary Iranian, Iraqi passport holders repealed

Tehran (IP) - Iran's cabinet at a meeting on Wednesday, agreed to issue a permit to establish visa waiver regulations for holders of ordinary passports between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq.

Iran PressIran news: At a cabinet meeting chaired by President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday morning, members of the government agreed to issue a visa waiver to ordinary passport holders between Iran and the Republic of Iraq.

To facilitate the travel of Iranian pilgrims to Iraq, especially during the Arbaeen, the cabinet approved the abolition of 45-day visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports between the two countries' governments, subject to reciprocity.
