Russia, US address remaining issues on JCPOA

Vienna (IP) - Russia's permanent envoy to the international organizations in Vienna says he had a frank discussion with the US Envoy for Iran on the JCPOA.

Iran PressEurope: In a Tuesday tweet, Mikhail Ulyanov wrote: "We had a frank discussion with the US Envoy for Iran Robert Malley on the remaining issues which need to be settled in order to restore full implementation of the nuclear deal."

Ulyanov described the meeting as "Another useful meeting with the US delegation at the Vienna talks" on reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Representatives of Iran and the other five signatories to the nuclear agreement, namely Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, have been engaged in the Vienna process since early April to find ways to bring the United States back to the deal and prepare the ground for its full implementation.
