171 Iranian COVID-19 patients succumb to death in last 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that COVID-19 had claimed the lives of 171 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 80,327

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 1, 2021, 2,923,823 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,477,596 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,687 cases, out of whom 1,600 patients were hospitalized.

4,064 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 19,59,238 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 13 cities are red, 214 are orange, and 221 are yellow zones.

So far, 3,786,268 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 526,326 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,312 594 doses.
