Tehran (IP) - A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament Shahriar Heidari says that the unity of Islamic countries is necessary to face the criminal actions of the Israeli regime.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Shahriar Heidari stated about the new round of Israeli attacks on Gaza that Iran's position against the Israeli regime was clear, noting: "Israel, with the support of the United States, seeks legitimacy that some Arab countries are moving in this direction."

The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran noted that the Israeli regime seeks to attack the Palestinian nation by sowing discord and divisions between Islamic countries.

Heidari emphasized that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution had always emphasized the unity of the Islamic world, saying: "With the unity of Islamic countries, it was possible to establish security in the region and solve the problems of the Islamic world."

The MP highlighted that the new movements of the Israeli regime in Quds and Gaza are rooted in the policy of compromise of some Arabs with this regime. The Zionist temperament has no borders.

The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament underscored that Islamic countries, with the unity which Iran expects, could take deterrent measures against the belligerent Israeli regime.

In the recent conflict between the Israeli regime and Palestinians, 181 Palestinians, including 52 children and 31 women, have been martyred and 1,225 injured.
