Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that in the past 24 hours, 366 people had died of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 75,934.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 12, 2021, 2,707,761 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,162,087 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,409 cases, out of whom 2,252 patients were hospitalized.

5,501 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 17,480,333 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 46 cities are red, 263 are orange, and 139 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,623,279 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 319,793 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,943,072 doses.
