Iran: 351 COVID patients succumb to death in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that in the past 24 hours, 351 COVID-19 patients had succumbed to death, bringing the total death toll to 75,261.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 10, 2021, 2,673,219 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,127,192 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 18,408 cases, out of whom 2,517 patients were hospitalized.

5,533 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 17,206,735 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 46 cities are red, 263 are orange, and 139 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,469,701 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 290,347 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,760,048 doses.
