Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 386 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 74,910.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 09, 2021, 2,654,811 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,109,702 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,141 cases, out of whom 2,044 patients were hospitalized.

5,538 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 17,069,126 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 46 cities are red, 263 are orange, and 139 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,378,744 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 276,667 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,655,411 doses.
