Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that in the past 24 hours, 349 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 73,568.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 05, 2021, 2,591,609 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,039,427 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 15,872 cases, out of whom 2,449 patients were hospitalized.

5,499 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 16,511,987 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 102 cities are red, 235 are orange, and 111 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,115,722 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 234,568 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,350,290 doses.
