Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that in the past 24 hours, 332 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 72,090.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,516,157, and 1,971,064 of them were recovered.

According to diagnostic criteria from yesterday to May 01, 2021, according to definitive diagnostic criteria, 17,080 new patients with COVID-19 were identified in the country, of which 2,390 were hospitalized.

5,421 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 15,961,178 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 198 cities are classified as red zones, 157 as orange, 84 as yellow, and 9 as blue zones.

So far, 889,095 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 211,822 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,100,917 doses.
