Coronavirus claims lives of 344 Iranians in 24h

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, 344 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 73,219.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 04, 2021, 2,575,737 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 2,022,586 of the total infected people, recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 20,150 cases, out of whom 2,985 patients were hospitalized.

5,477 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 16,379,357 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 102 cities are in red, 235 in orange,111 are in yellow zones.

So far, 1,083,138 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 231,503 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 1,314,641 doses.
