Tehran (IP) – The spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced a ban on passengers' entry from eastern borders.

Iran PressIran News: Ruhollah Latifi stated that the entry of Pakistani and Afghan travelers and other nationals to Iran from the eastern borders had been halted.

He noted that entry of Pakistani nationals from the borders of 'Mirjaveh' and 'Rimdan' in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and the entry of Afghan travelers from the borders of 'Milak' in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, 'Mahirud' in South Khorasan Province, and 'Dogharoon' in Khorasan Razavi Province had been forbidden.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, restrictions have been imposed on the commute of citizens of Iran's neighboring countries.
