Kuwait(IP)- The Iranian foreign minister met with the Prime Minister of Kuwait and briefed him about Iran's nuclear talks in Vienna.

Iran PressMiddle East: Following the meeting with the officials of the Persian Gulf countries, Mohammad Javad Zarif met with the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid in Kuwait on Thursday. During the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister explained the latest developments in the region from Iran's point of view, as well as the talks with the P4+1 in Vienna. 

The Iranian foreign minister stressed the need for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kuwait's efforts to create and strengthen the dialogue to resolve issues and expand multilateral cooperation between the countries in the region.

Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid also welcomed the Iranian foreign minister's visit to Kuwait and expressed hope that Iran's nuclear talks would achieve positive results.

Cooperation on various issues, including the fight against the coronavirus outbreak, the environment, consular and visa issues, as well as issues related to Iranian boats in Kuwaiti ports, were other topics discussed during the meeting.
