Iran registers 454 new COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 454 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 69,574.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 25, 2021, 2,396,204 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,877,517 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 19,165 cases, out of whom 3,019 patients were hospitalized.

5,206 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 15,195,766 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 301 cities are classified as red zones, 95 as orange, 45 as yellow, and 7 as blue zones.

So far, 618,362 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine and 165,655 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 784,017 doses.
