Tehran (IP) - The third phase of the clinical study of the 'Cov-Iran Barekat' vaccine was conducted on three volunteers on Sunday morning in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: In the third phase, the researchers examine the vaccine's effects on individuals to fight coronavirus.

This stage would be carried out on 20,000 individuals in 6 cities of Tehran, Karaj, Mashhad, Bushehr, Isfahan, and Shiraz.

These volunteers who are between the ages of 18 to 75, must be in good physical health.

In the first phase, the researchers examined the vaccine's uncomplicated nature, and in the second phase, the amount of antibody production in volunteers' bodies and the dose needed for the injection were examined.
