COVID-19 claims 374 lives in Iran

Tehran (IP) - The Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education announced: So far, 2,377,039 people in the country have been definitively contracted COVID-19 and with the death of 374 patients the last 24 hours, the number of losses has reached 69,120

Iran PressIran news: The Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education announced in a statement on Saturday: "So far, 584,736 people have received the first dose of COVID vaccine and 157,258 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 741,994 doses."

From yesterday to today, April 24, and based on definitive diagnostic criteria, 18,230 new patients with COVID -19 were identified in the country, of which 2,912 were hospitalized. With this account, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,377,039.

Unfortunately, in the last 24 hours, 374 COVID-19 patients lost their lives and the total number of deaths from the disease reached 69,120.

Fortunately, 1,863,405 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospitals so far.

5,156 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 15,078,540 diagnostic tests have been conducted across the country.

Currently, 301 cities are in red, 95 in orange, 45 are in yellow, and 7 are in blue zones.
