Tehran (IP) - Iranian Parliament speaker said that the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) had been the strongest supporter of the Iranian nation since its establishment.

Iran PressIran News: "Since its inception, the IRGC has been the strongest supporter of the Iranian nation in any problems you care to name, from floods, earthquakes, and disease to warfare and the imminent threats of the enemy," the Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf tweeted.

Ghalibaf added: "The record of the bravery of heroes such as Jahanara, Kharrazi, Bagheri, Bakeri, Hemmat, Kazemi, Soleimani, etc. clearly proves if it were not for the IRGC, there would be no country."

The IRGC was established on April 22, 1979, by the order of the late Founder of Iran's Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini.
