JCPOA Joint Commission meeting begins in Vienna

Tehran (IP) - The meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and the P4+1 started on Saturday afternoon at the level of political deputies in Grand Hotel Vienna.

Iran PressEurope: The meeting chaired by Deputy of European Union Foreign Policy Chief Enrique Mora. Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi leads Iran’s delegation.

In this meeting, while reviewing the discussions, the results of technical consultations of expert working groups in the two areas of sanctions and nuclear issues will be received and discussed.

Attendees are also expected to decide how quickly to proceed, as well as issues to be resolved.

Before this meeting, several bilateral and multilateral meetings have been held between the Chairman of our Negotiating Committee, Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, and the heads of the other delegations present at the talks.

In parallel with these discussions, consultations and technical discussions of expert groups continue.
