Iran PressIran News: Referring to the production of 60% enriched uranium, Ali Akbar Salehi, the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said: "On Wednesday, we ordered the achievement of 60% enriched uranium, and early on Friday, we achieved 60% enrichment."

He noted: "The production of the current product is about 9 grams per hour. Although the production of uranium with 60% enrichment will decrease and may reach 5 or 6 grams. At the same time, we have 20% enrichment. In fact, 20% and 60% enrichment is done at the same time."

He added: "After last week's incident, there was no pollution in the Natanz site. If there were pollution, the inspectors who visited the site would announce it. In addition, I must say that after this incident, the enrichment has not stopped for a moment. Only one enrichment hall with IR-1 centrifuges is out of order.”
