Tehran (IP): The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran said: "Accelerating the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq will strengthen and stabilize stabilization processes."

Iran PressIran News:  Ali Shamkhani, referred to that the assassination of resistance commanders, martyrs  Lt. Gen Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, made clear the role of the United States in strengthening Takfiri terrorism, adding: "Prosecution and punishment of the perpetrators of this terrorist crime is one of the priorities of the two countries' security cooperation.

Shamkhani said: "We expect more from the Iraqi government as the host of Martyr Qasem Soleimani (at that time)."

Expressing concern over the reactivation of elements affiliated with the ISIS terrorist outfit in Iraq, Shamkhani added: "There is reliable information that the Americans are trying to pave the way for their continued presence in Iraq by fomenting insecurity by supporting ISIS forces and moving them to different parts of the country."

The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, referring to the anti-security movements of anti-revolutionary and terrorist elements in the Kurdistan region and northern Iraq, stressed the need for more Tehran-Baghdad cooperation to end the atrocities of these groups.

Shamkhani mentioned creating new security structures between the region's countries to combat common security threats as a suitable solution for establishing stability and security in the region and announced Iran's readiness to form such structures.

Qasim Mohammad Jalal al-Araji, Iraq's national security adviser, praised Iran's strategic and privileged role in establishing stability and security in the region and the fight against terrorism and stressed the need to continue and expand comprehensive cooperation between Iran and Iraq.

Al-Araji confirmed the connection of the ISIS terrorist group with the United States, noting that categorizing terrorist groups into good and bad ones and applying double standards in the fight against terrorism would definitely have no result other than strengthening the criminal role terrorist movements.
