Spokesman of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalvandi

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran(AEOI) said no information would be made available to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) until sanctions were lifted.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an interview with IRIB on Thursday, Behrouz Kamalvandi said Iran expected IAEA to make a commitment to the information they received from Iran's nuclear programs.

Kamalvandi pointed to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission which was underway in Vienna, adding that the Iranian negotiating team's overall strategy was that the fate of sanctions should be determined first.

He highlighted the pressure of some world powers on the international bodies and the western media's propaganda against Iran's nuclear activities, noting: "Usually, with political purposes, the international media seek to make accusations, that is, if they want Iran not to have power and authority, they must say Iran is looking for a [nuclear] bomb to bring the rest of other countries to put pressure on us."
