Vienna (IP)- The Deputy Foreign Minister and the head of the Iranian delegation at the JCPOA Joint Commission meeting, Abbas Araghchi, stressed that cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency would continue in various fields.

Iran PressEurope: After meeting with the Director-General of the Internationa Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi in Vienna, Abbas Araghchi said on Thursday: "This meeting was held to coordinate more with the IAEA to play its role if need be."

Araghchi added that IAEA needed to do its duty set out at the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission meeting and that the Director-General should have been involved in the negotiations."

Cooperation between Iran and the IAEA in areas such as verification, technological assistance and other issues will continue," Iran's diplomat said.

"In our opinion, the United States should take all actions at once, we will verify, and then Iran will take its own actions," he added.
