COVID-19 claims 96 lives in Iran

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Wednesday that in the past 24 hours, 96 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,665.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 31, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,330 cases out of whom 1,288 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,885,564 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,617,333 recovered.

3,970 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,821,847 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 32 cities are classified as red zones, 85 as orange, 272 as yellow, and 59 as blue zones.
