Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Monday that in the past 24 hours, 81 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,478.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 29, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,310 cases out of whom 1,157 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated. 

She noted that so far, 1,864,984 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,600,488 recovered.

3,940 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,682,968 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 23 cities are classified as red zones, 44 as orange, 287 as yellow, and 94 as blue zones.
