Tehran (IP) - In separate letters, Iran's president congratulated Pakistani President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan on Pakistan National Day.

Iran PressIran News: In his messages, Hassan Rouhani expressed hope that the joint efforts of Iran and Pakistani officials would lead to significant steps to improve bilateral relations in all dimensions.

"I hope that we will witness the development and deepening of the relations between the two great nations of Iran and Pakistan in all fields of mutual interest, considering the vast capabilities and abundant and rich commonalities in areas, including culture and civilization between the two brotherly and Muslim countries," Rouhani wrote for the Pakistani president. 

He also addressed the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing hope to witness the growing prosperity of the relations between the two brotherly and neighboring countries at all levels and in the interests of the two nations and the Islamic Ummah.
