Islamabad (IP) - Iranian Ambassador to Islamabad congratulated Pakistan's new Air Force Commander and stressed Tehran's readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the Pakistani Air Force.

Iran Press/Asia: In a message to Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar on Thursday, Mohammad Ali Hosseini congratulated him on his appointment as the new commander of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and wished him success.

Hosseini said he worked to increase co-operation between the two brotherly countries' air forces, Iran and Pakistan.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan appointed Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu as the air staff's new chief.
